BlackMirror has been about technologies effect on our society, Playtest seemed more like a deeply personal story about a man coping with his own fears. The technology was just a mcguffin. Great episode of TV and a good mindfuck but I didn't find it particularly strong on the social commentary side. 41.
Sofar I've just seen the first two episodes, and I felt they were both pretty strong for their own reasons. Episode 1 is getting too much hate and episode 2 is getting a bit too much hype, but they were both up to the standard I expect from Black Mirror.
